From the Racers
A run down of the last race, courtesy of Richard.
hey, since i lost touch w/the front group
in both races you
may want to ask josh or cal for details. i
think they went
cal, craig, kenny josh in heat and craig,
cal, josh and kenny
in the main (kenny fell or stalled second
turn into the dirt
section about halfway through).
for us slow guys in the B group, i edged
out tom lajoi in
T1 and finished in 1st. tom had 2nd, dave
yeski in 3rd and
dave rock in 4th. behind dave rock i dont
know the running
order, but there was ron, jacob and a new
guy (dont remember
his name, riding a ktm 300 i think).
couple laps in, dave rock
passed yeski in the dirt, then closed up on
tom and passed
him going into the back section. he made
up time on me, but
ran out of laps before the flag.
late in the race, ron fell going in to T1.
he was up and walking,
but was driven to the hospital to get
checked out. word is he just
got some bruises, nothing broken and is
planning to run the next
race.
in the main race, dave yeski holeshot to the lead,
tom and i went
side by side through T1 and i got away from T2 a bit
faster to take
2nd, w/tom in 3rd and dave rock in 4th. dave rock
went around tom
in the decreasing right for 3rd and i passed yeski
middle of the dirt
section for the lead. next lap around, rock passed
yeski in the same
spot he passed tom to move into 2nd. he closed up
on me and got
close a couple times in the dirt, but i ended up
first w/dave rock
a close second and i think yeski 3rd and tom 4th.
